Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Belle Amie โ€“ 2024-06-24

Belle Amie anchored at Cabo Pearce. A little breezy here today with 15 kts and gusting from the north, but seas are not bad, just a 1ft chop at the dive site and a long SE swell rolling in. Sky partly cloudy, air temp 26C, water temp 22C. Viz 15m, current mild on the first dive and strong on the second.

Diving has been solid, some groups saw dolphins on the first dive and 4 or 5 mantas around. 2nd dive we had a strong current…most divers still had a great dive with lots of wildlife, several mantas, a black-tip, Galapagos, and a dolphin fly-by. Some bonitos and tunas around as well.

Will do 2 more dives here at Cabo Pearce. We’ll see how the afternoon goes before deciding if we start here at Cabo Pearce tomorrow morning then navy check-in or if we do 3 at Tosca and the navy.
