Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-06-26

Belle Amie anchored near the Boiler today. Wind is NW ranging from 5-8kts occasionally picking up to 10-14, seas are NW 3-5ft, sky mostly overcast today. Air temp 25C. Water temp 23, viz 25m, current mild, beautiful dive conditions and amazing diving.

Both dives we’ve had dolphins but in particular the second dive we had that one dolphin who wanted to visit everyone on the dive site and try to make physical contact with many of them. There were several other dolphins around as well and they all stuck around for the entire dive. Also 4 to 5 giant mantas cruising around for the whole dive, I could see 2 under the inflatable as I was picking the divers up after their dive.

Lots of other pelagic action as well with some big yellow-fin tunas around, Galapagos sharks, lots of white tips cruising around. A great day at the Boiler.

Today is our last day of diving so 2 more, then departing after dinner for Cabo.
