Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Explorer โ€“ 2024-06-26

Hola, Nex is at Cabo Pearce today. Weather is good, we have breeze coming from NNW about 10 – 12 kt. Sky is partially cloudy, Air temperature is 25ยฐC. Sea conditions have been really nice for diving, visibility about 25 – 20 m. Water temp. 24.5ยฐC. Low current going SE. waves about 3 – 5 ft.

We have done 2 dives during the morning; the first one was very good. The divers saw a couple of dolphins at the beginning of the dive, they also saw three mantas that interacted with the divers for the hole dive. There was a small school of hammer head sharks at the end of the dive, and tons of reef fish everywhere.

In the second dive, the divers saw a big school of hammerhead sharks, about 40 individuals. There were some white tips sharks, 2 mantas and one silver tip shark. It was a really good dive. Current picked up a little.
