Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-07-01

Belle Amie is at Cabo Pearce today. Wind is around 10-15 northerly, 1-2ft chop at the dive site, mostly sunny, air temp 26C, water temp 23 to 24C (warming up a bit and much warmer than San Benedicto), viz 20m, current mild.

We had a great first day yesterday and a beautiful taco night while running with the wind and calm seas last night from the Canyon.

Today the diving has been excellent, Cabo Pearce still delivering. 4-5 giant mantas around the whole dive number 2 and a pod of dolphins around, between both dives everyone has had some dolphin encounters including some babies.

We’re going to do 2 more here at Cabo Pearce and maybe navy check’in tomorrow morning followed by 3 afternoon dives at Tosca tomorrow, then RP on the 3rd with the NEX.

Storm that was trying to brew so far looking better and like it’s not going to develop into much.
