Hola, NEX is at Las Animas Island. This morning was windy. There was wind of 15 kt. coming from SE, but it slowed to 6 kt. during the day. Sky is clear and sunny. Air temperature is 34 ยฐC. Water conditions are not the best for diving. Visibility is around 5 – 6 m. Current going NE.
We did 2 dives in the morning; The first one was good. It was the checkout dive in El Corralito, SW of the island. This dive was good, with the juvenile sea lions playing around they were curios and playful all the time. There were also many bulls eye rays in the bottom and tons of reef fish everywhere.
The second dive was at El Morro del Norte, and it was a little more challenging, viz was poor, about 5 m. Current was a little stronger. The guests saw many sea lions playing around the rock, some divers saw a small school of hammerhead sharks. Lots of reef fish close to the rock.
