Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-09-12

Belle Amie at San Pedro Martir again today on the SSW side. Weather was very calm till 1000 hrs, later was with a light breeze from the south. Skies are clear.  Air temp 36C. On the dives we have had 15-20m visibility, water temp around 28-30C, moderate current.

Yesterday in Bahia Los Angeles guests had a lot of encounters with whale sharks in the morning and in afternoon on second tour was even more whale sharks.

Today in the morning they had two dives and they were very happy as they saw sea turtles, octopuses, and many small creatures.

We had to cancel afternoon dives as we are expecting tropical storm inside Baja California Sur. Trajectory is now 90% probability so we had decided that we heave anchor and head down south. We are considering also to disembark passengers at Loretto. We will modify plan according to weather.

Guest seems to be happy with decision to have 2 dives only and later flying to south.
