Position: South of Los Islotes. Belle Amie is currently anchored just south of Los Islotes in 50 feet of water, with 2 shackles deployed, approximately 1.5 cables from the island.
Diving Activities:
The first dive this morning was at El Bajo, where visibility was a bit over 20 meters, and water temperatures ranged between 27 to 28°C. Divers had the pleasure of encountering hammerhead sharks, turtles, large schools of triggerfish, and even witnessed dolphins feasting.
Other marine life included zebra eels and more. Due to unexpected changes, the second dive was cancelled, and instead, guests enjoyed snorkelling with dolphins, which provided an equally thrilling experience.
Yesterday afternoon’s dives at Isla Las Animas were exceptional, with visibility up to 30 meters and water temperatures reaching 30°C, though slightly cooler in some spots.
The night dive was a highlight, with divers encountering an array of fascinating nocturnal creatures, including octopuses and various fish that remained hidden during the day.
This morning, divers enjoyed close encounters with playful sea lions, a school of sardines near the rocks, and a variety of colorful fish. The conditions have remained ideal, with clear visibility and abundant marine life making for another memorable day.
