Position: Belle Amie is anchored just south of La Reyna in 70 feet of water, with 2 shackles deployed, approximately 1 cable from the island.
Diving Activities:
This morning’s first dive at La Reyna brought spectacular marine encounters. Three groups initially spotted mantas alongside a variety of other marine animals, and during the second dive, the fourth group that missed out on mantas earlier also had the fortune of seeing them.
All four groups witnessed schools of jacks, appearing like shimmering silver clouds, while mobula rays soared through the blue. Meanwhile, the playful sea lions delighted everyone with their antics, keeping spirits high aboard Belle Amie.
The seas around La Reyna have been cooperative for diving, with water temperatures holding at a comfortable 27°C, warm enough to enjoy while keeping the senses sharp. Visibility reached up to 30 meters, allowing divers a clear view of the beautiful marine landscape. Though a slight to moderate current was present, it posed no challenge to the intrepid divers.
Previous Dives:
Yesterday afternoon, we conducted two dives at Los Islotes. Conditions were very favorable, with water temperatures at 27°C and visibility up to 25 meters. The divers greatly enjoyed interacting with the lively sea lions, and they also observed schools of sardines along with other marine species.
After completing the dives, we proceeded to anchor at Bonanza Beach to find shelter, as swells exceeded 1 meter. This ensured a calm night for the guests, free from excessive rocking.
Guests are super happy with the trip.
