Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2024-09-29

Activities Summary:

On the afternoon of 28th September, the crew of Belle Amie prepared the vessel for the new trip, designated Trip 403. Between 1900 and 1930 hours, we received our new guests onboard, warmly welcoming them with an introductory speech, followed by a comprehensive briefing and safety briefing.

Afterward, we conducted abandon ship and fire drills for all passengers to ensure familiarity with safety protocols. Additionally, we arranged the dive groups for the upcoming dives.

At 2200 hours, Belle Amie departed from Cantamar and set sail for Las Animas. The vessel arrived at 0600 hours and waited to drop anchor until 0800 hours, as the area was a bit crowded, with the vessel Rocio del Mar occupying part of the bay.

Diving Activities:

The first dive took place at 1030 hours, allowing guests time to prepare and set up their gear. The dive was excellent, with good visibility up to 25 meters and a water temperature of 30°C. Divers were enthusiastic as they explored the vibrant underwater environment, setting a positive tone for the day.

Outlook: Favorable conditions are expected, with calm to moderate seas and consistent wind patterns. Excellent diving conditions are anticipated, with no significant changes in weather. With smooth operations, a successful start to Trip 403, and excellent diving conditions, Belle Amie and her guests are poised for an exciting journey ahead.
