Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2024-09-29

Good afternoon, everyone,

NGL at Espiritu Santo, Ensenada el Gallo. 60 ft depth 3 shots out.

Weather Conditions Easterly winds 15 kts, 1-2 ft seas. cloudy skies, air temp 35C.

Yesterday we finished the day at las Animas, the afternoon dives at the cave and corralito were great with great visibility and warm water as in the morning, plus a lot of active sea lions and lot of reef fishes.

We departed from las animas to el bajo late night and arrived this early morning, but it was windy and seas were picking up this morning and boat started to roll so we ran to Los islotes.

We did 2 morning dives at Los islotes. First dive we had Los islotes just for ourselves, very playful sea lions getting nose to nose with our divers. There was a little bit of current from East to west, viz was good like 15 mts and temperature 29C.

Second dive more of the same more sea lions, sardine school and reef fishes. There were like 7 diving pangas by the second dive and Valentina was arriving. Water conditions were the same as the first dive.

We moved from los islotes to Ensenada el Gallo to dive Fang Ming and la Ballena this afternoon. Tomorrow we will be at La Reyna.
