Captainโ€™s Noon Reports โ€“ Gallant Lady โ€“ 2024-11-28

NGL Anchored at Cabo Tosco, South Margarita Island, the sky is now partly cloudy, but in the morning, it was completely covered by fog, which started to clear at 1100 hrs. Air temperature 69 F, wind 5 knots from the NW and long period swell from the south of 6ft.

This morning was done the warm-up dive and it was successful, saw hundreds of juvenile Sea Lions that would not let them get on the RHIB, they followed the divers to the ladder.

Vis Not very good. Water temp 68F and strong surge… Plan after lunch is to go out to look for Mobulas and whales and everything that floats that is good for snorkelling.

Plan for the next days is searching for Bait Balls offshore Mag Bay.
