Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2025-01-01

Hi everyone, diving the Boiler in San Benedicto Island anchored in 104ft, wind is doing 10 to 15 kts N, air and water temperature are 76F, visibility average 35 to 45ft, swell 4 to 6ft NW.

During the first Dive the guests had a calm dive low animal encounter, 2 dolphins, school of jacks, reef fish’s, white tips, very strong current from the west to the east.

After the dive number 2 was better the guests had a better animal encounter with mantas, Galapagos, few hammerheads, white tips. The ocean current continues. Despite the high swell, the boat and the skiff manoeuvres were safe with the guests.
