Anchored in 50Ft of water, we are in San Benedicto diving the Canyon, the check dive was conducted in Fondeadero (leather bass alley).

Guests splashed the water from the dive platform, they went down and had a pretty good dive some saw a manta, Galapagos and the leather bass that come in big groups here.

Today wind is gusting to 14kts NW however at times it comes down to 2 maybe 4 knots at the most, flat seas at the Canyon, only big swells breaking in the south west side of the island. Air temperature is 75F.

Visibility averages 75Ft, little current running to the west. This morning the skies were blocked with heavy clouds but sun and wind had blown them away. Water temperature id 75F.

In second dive guests made it to the cleaning station, they say is full of sharks some even say they got a school of hammerhead sharks, in the cleaning station the silver tips, Galapagos and some silkies kept circling the rock getting cleaned, is a beautiful day, first day of the year, good diving.
