Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-01-05

Diving Roca Partida, amazing weather, almost dead calm, light NW breeze, calm seas once in a while a set of long period waves comes, but the boat is still on the ocean´s surface. Cloudy day though, looks like is going to rain.

Air temperature is 75F, today ocean is 76F, light current to the east, visibility is a stunning 100Ft.

The two morning dives have been loaded with sharks, definitely Roca Partida is the shark dive, the north corner has tons of the silver tip sharks, Galapagos and silkies, the balconies are full of the reef white tip sharks, lobsters here are immense.

Some were able to see yellowfin tunas, the horse eyed jacks and cotton mouths are all around the rock they come in huge schools and filled up the surrounding areas of Roca.
