Today at Punta Tosca we are diving first, Solmar V was already here when we arrived last night but they wanted to start second. We did 2 dives this morning that were good, nice viz and warm water 25C, is warmer underwater than at surface though. Strong chilly winds today.
First dive was good 1 Manta, a sea turtle, some rays and lot of different fish. One group had a manta on their safety stop which they were super happy. In first dive there was a moderate current off the bay to the West.
Second Dive, all divers could saw 2 Mantas, one Big Chevron and another juvenile one. There was also one single hammerhead that most of the divers saw and same lot of fishes. On second dive there was a mild current not as strong as in the first dive.
Planning to do one more dive here, then go to Navy base for check in and after that go to drop anchor at Cabo Pearce for tomorrow’s dives.
Yesterday afternoon at the Canyon dives were great as in the morning with lot of sharks and 3-4 Mantas, everyone loved the Canyon.
