Cheers to the ocean lovers

Have you ever been in love? Have you ever been passionate about something? How would you describe it? Scuba diving is like that. If you ask a lot of divers, “What did you see? How was your dive?” you’ll notice a glow in their eyes and a kind of euphoria that only lovers have. Everyone describes the same thing differently because they’re not just seeing with their eyes, the words come directly from their hearts. How beautiful it is to see so many people in love with the sea.

It can be disappointing sometimes, but you’re always ready for the next dive, eager to discover what lies beyond the surface. These are the best descriptions I can give from my seven days between sky and ocean. So many people from different nationalities, experiences, and languages sharing for a brief moment their love that don’t need translation, and what a moment it was.

There’s a special kind of person who turns their love for the ocean into their job, and thanks to them, our time on this journey was safe and, most importantly, magical. To them, I want to express my most sincere gratitude. In the end, everyone will go back to their lives; there’s a world out there calling us back, miles away from here. But for this magical moment, we shared something that will always hold a place in our hearts, where every love begins.

Oh, I almost forgot to talk about the mantas. I guess I’ll have a lot to write about next time. For now, they glide in our best dreams.
