WOW!!! We had so many amazing animal encounters on this week’s charter – hammerhead sharks, giant mantas, friendly dolphins and baby humpbacks. It’s hard to describe the feeling when a dolphin swims right up to you and looks you in the eye. It gives you chills and makes you smile and cry all at once.
My favorite encounter though was when a giant manta swam right up to me, looked me in the eye, and allowed me to swim under him and blow bubbles beneath him. He came back to me three more times during that dive. Our dive guide Peter found a school of hammerheads and was leading the group to see them when my manta followed right along with me to find the sharks. It was incredible!!!
In addition to the fantastic diving, I can not recommend enough the amazing crew of the Nautilus Undersea. They do such a great job of blending safety, customer service and fun!!
