NEX at anchor at Cabo Pearce on 100 ft of water, 2.5 shots out. Light winds 8 kts N, long period swell 3-4 ft from the South and 2 ft seas from North, Clear and sunny sky, air temp 24C, water temp 23C, medium current from N, Viz 15mts.
Arrived this morning at Cabo Pearce, Quino el Guardian was here already. We have done 2 dives this morning, they have been nice dive but not extraordinary.
First dive was the best so far as there was a big school of hammerheads like 50 of them and one manta, some reef whitetips and silkies. There was the annoying current from the north so they have to keep shelter form the current.
Second dive was ok, 2 Mantas that came by, go away and then came back again, a couple of sharks, one of the group could saw a small school of 10 hammerheads. Viz was the same on both dives 15mts and current the same. We will do one more dive here and the we will move to the navy base for check in.
After the navy check in we will start make our way to San Benedicto to try to arrive first than the Quino.
Yesterday at Roca after mid-day, wind calmed down and seas became shiny like a mirror, guest had a beautiful view of the sunset and just after the sunset right from the east a full moon started to go up in the sky. Later on at dusk, we were able to saw a meteorite coming in to the atmosphere in direction to the East.
