Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-04-13

Cabo Pearce. anchor resting in 90Ft of water, weather conditions are just outstanding, light breeze, flat seas, air temperature is 76F, water today is 72F, light current running to the south, visibility averages 50Ft.

Lots of mantas in our second dive, this morning we made our first dive in Punta Tosca but visibility was really bad, maybe 10Ft at the most they say so we brought anchor up and headed here, there were two other boats here, after talking to them and made time arrangements we just did our second dive of the day, first one here today.

Guests loved the change as the visibility is much better here and the sea life is good, some even saw dolphins cruising by. Clear skies, weather this week is been fantastic so far.

Last night when we anchored in Punta Tosca, we had couple of things happening that made our day even better. After the navy inspection we made it to Tosca, anchored and just before sunset a couple of whales started jumping out of the water imagine seeing the sun going down while whales were doing this for us so you see whale silhouettes up against the sun.

Mirko was doing the Manta 101 presentation and the moonrise took place all guests attending the presentation just left the room so they were all laughing about leaving Mirko alone in the salon, the moonrise was spectacular. Minutes later a meteor (a bunch of them at the same time) went across the top of the Socorro (it looked like that ) to then disappeared behind Socorro, our evening was amazing.
