Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-06-23

The Boiler, anchor in 130Ft of water, 3 shots paid out. Light 8kts NW winds, air temperature is 76F, ocean today is 73F, visibility is 80Ft, light current to the east… long 6Ft NW swells, cloudy skies, with enough light in the dives.

Both dives have been great they say, good visibility, load of fish, big pacific mantas (manta birostris), they come and go, play with guests vanish in the blue water then come back loop around for minutes then leave again. Guests loving The Boiler.

In second dive they had same action but this time two tigers came around, one of them curious about the guests, came close winked her eye and left, guest exit the water cheering for the Boiler. Some others found an octopus and made it their thing for the dive.

In first dive a bunch of white tip reef sharks piled up in a crevice and guests were amazed of so many sharks in such a little place.

I am driving the skiff and I can see a bunch of mantas on the surface and around the rock, also a big turtle came up gasping for air, I have been seeing this big turtle here for the past three trips.
