Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-08-12

NUS at anchor in Bahia de los Angeles, on 111 ft. 2.5 shots out, wind W 6-9 kts, air temp. 29 C, sea state N 1 ft, Coudy day.

In our morning dives were good conditions into the water good visibility 15-18 mtrs and temp. 24 C.

Yesterday afternoon we were able to do two very nice dives. The current was stronger than in the afternoon, but the guests enjoyed it nonetheless. We were alone in the bay, so the guests took over the bay, went kayaking, snorkeling, and even enjoyed swimming off the stern of the boat. They are having a pleasant vacation.

This morning, we went on a dive where they saw a huge jellyfish and many stingrays, including electric, round, standard, and whiptail stingrays, as if they were all gathered in the same place. It was a very exciting dive.

Now the guests are returning from their search for whale sharks. It wasn’t very successful, but we still have faith that it will improve in the afternoon. After lunch, we have another outing planned, and then we’ll have cheese and wine on the beach.
