Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-10-21

NBA at anchor El Submarino, SW of Danzante Island, on 90 ft depth, 2 shots out. N´ly wind 10-12 kt. Here we are protected from wind, 1 ft seas, Clear sky, Air temp 30C. Water temp 27C.

We just dropped anchor on the SW of Danzante island to dive El Submarino. North of the island is bit windy and choppy as there are 12-15 kts winds and 2-3 ft seas, here is nice and calm.

We arrived this morning to Loreto Area, as it was going to be windy up north on Coronado we stopped here first.

We dove in first dive in El Abismo in Carmen Island, it was nice, as the viz was great 30 mts, lot of black coral and soft coral, deep dive, but not too many fish.

What was the best part, but for only the last group, a pod of 20ish dolphins arrived to the place, last groups could saw them while diving, other groups at the surface from the skiffs, they loved it.

One guest said that this morning he saw a whale around the place early before dive. We not sure what kind of whale as only he saw it.

On second dive we moved to Punta Eleonor on the East side of Danzante island, it was a beautiful dive, good viz, 20+ mts, nice temp 27C. Many reef fishes, like snappers, parrot fish, puffer fish and among many others, some of them really big ones. Also they saw one horn shark egg, and 2 eagle rays. All guests loved it.

Now we are at El Submarino, to do the last dives of the day. Nice day so far.

We will depart tonight after dinner to Coronado Island to dive there tomorrow.
