Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2025-11-17

NEX at anchor in Cabo Pearce, Socorro, at 75 ft, 3 shots out, Sunny & Windy day, Air temperature 26 C, Wind NW 10-13 kts and sea state 1 ft at anchor area.

Yesterday, after doing another dive at Punta Tosca, we went to Cabo Henslow and did another dive there. That dive site is interesting. Then we continued to Cape Pearce to finish anchoring in the bay.

Today we already did two very nice dives. The guests saw a hammerhead shark, three chevron mantas, a stingray, and there were about four or five huge octopuses together. They also saw moray eels.

When they were back on the surface, a giant bait ball arrived. Everyone submerged their cameras and recorded this immense ball being devoured by silvertip sharks and huge yellowfin tuna.

We have two more dives planned, and it’s also cheese and wine night today. After dinner, we will set sail for Cabo San Lucas.

Crew and Guests doing well.
