Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-11-22

Anchor in San Benedicto, wind from NE doing 10kts, air temperature is 80F, today ocean is 84F, light current running to the west, visibility averages 30Ft, cloudy skies, at times looks like it is going to rain. Flat seas inside the bay.

In check dive we did Leather Bass Alley, some of the guests struggled with their buoyancy, we helped them and they were able to do the dive and enjoyed it.
I could see the dolphins on the surface but divers did not see them probably cause visibility is a bit low.

Second dive was done in the lava flow, same underwater conditions, a bit more action as mantas came in, some of the divers saw a hammerhead, one of the groups saw turtles, white tip reef sharks were around, guests hoping for visibility to improve.

Last night when we arrived here there were five other boats already and after we anchored another boat arrived.

NEX is letting us dive the Canyon for the afternoon dives, thank you Cap Miguel.

Guests and crew doing good
