Weather: Good weather conditions today, sunny day, clear sky, air temperature 23C, W 12-15 kts winds, 2-3 ft swell. Water condition, water temp. 22C, visibility 10mts.

NEX at anchor in Canyon, San Benedicto, at 55 ft, 1.5 shots out.

Hello everyone, yesterday ended on a high note for us; the dives were fantastic. The guests were hoping to see a tiger shark, and they got their wish! In the last dive, a tiger shark was spotted. It wasn’t very watchful, but it made an appearance. The mantas also showed up and put on a show.

Once the dives were over, we anchored in Canyon and stayed there for a quiet night so the guests could rest up for today’s action.

Today, neither group had the best visibility, but there was plenty of action.

One group was with dolphins the whole time, and when they arrived at the clean station, there was a school of 10 hammerhead sharks. Then there were the whitetip and silvertip sharks, which were part of the beauty that Canyon showed us.

Another couple of groups of guests managed to see three chevron manta rays, which ended up sharing the safety stop with them. Chris and Ana had the opportunity to see a whale shark, but they were the only ones to see it, and we’re still crossing our fingers that they’ll reappear this afternoon.

We have two more dives planned for the afternoon, then we’ll get everything ready for the cheese and wine, and then we’ll begin our journey to Cabo San Lucas.

Crew and guests doing fine.
