Second dive on our first day diving on this trip was absolutely amazing – my first Hammerhead shark!! In fact, there were two! Many white tips resting in the sand. Lots of curious silver tips. A galapagos shark, very inquisitive. And the most beautiful black manta. She was so playful in our bubbles and loved looking at herself in the camera lenses. The eye contact with a manta is as true as everyone says – it was truly soul searching.

Looked from 40’ to see a huge turtle swimming over us – pretty good way to start the first dive of the day! Then giant mantas – one swam right over my head. Super cool first time experience. Videos are incredible, but they don’t capture the reality of seeing it in person. Next – a small hammerhead, followed by a much larger one. I would have stayed and watched longer, but got excited and used my air…

I have never been on a live aboard before, this ship and crew were absolutely amazing! The diving, food and service were above and beyond my expectations. It is a lucky SCUBA trip when every dive is amazing, many are epic and some are ´best ever.´ The diving is fantastic, but the experience is truly made by the fantastic crew on the Nautilus Belle Amie. Can’t wait to return!

Incredible experience from start to finish!! Captain Josep and the entire crew are absolute professionals that are extremely passionate about what they do.
