Read MoreYesterday we did two-afternoon dives at La Reyna which the guests really enjoyed and a night dive at the north end of Cerralvo which was not as exciting, viz was a bit down. Overall a great day though. This morning the two dives at Las Animas have been very good. On the first dive at the north rock, one group saw 8-10 hammerheads down in the sand around 80′. Lots of sea lions around, of course, although not super playful so far, but this afternoon we’ll dive with the young pups inside the bay. Conditions are really nice here, current mild to moderate. We’ll have taco night tonight and anchor at San Francisco to dive in that area tomorrow, then finish with our last dive day at Espiritu Santo.

Read MoreDid two dives this morning at Los Islotes. The first dive was a little quiet for sea lion action but huge schools of sardines which were very cool. On the second dive, the sea lions were much more playful and the guests spent most of the dive interacting with them.
Read MoreWe started this morning with a dive at El Bajo de San Francisco, 3nm offshore of the island. Everyone really loved it, full of fish life and coral. A big school of Cortez barracuda, black coral, yellow snapper, groupers, and turtles, with good visibility and mild current. For dive 2 we moved into San Francisquito and just completed that dive. A couple of playful sea lions around, lots of nudis on the deep side, and lots of the usual reef fish action.
Read MoreWe had a smooth overnight run up to Isla Coronado’s and did 2 dives there this morning. A beautiful dive site but with poor visibility. A few playful sea lions around and lots of fish, but because of the visibility we decided to try somewhere else for the afternoon. We just arrived at Isla Danzante and the RHIB is just departing for dive 3 now. We’ll do one more here this afternoon then head south again to dive around San Francisco tomorrow.
Read MoreDiving has been excellent with mild to moderate current. Lots of big schools of snapper, jacks, and several hammerheads were spotted as well, a little in the distance but everyone saw them, and of course lots of playful sea lions on the last dive in the little bay of El Corralito. Guests enjoyed the diving very much today. We’ll have taco night at anchor and get underway for Isla Coronado around 2200hrs.
