After a slow start yesterday, the sharks really gave us a spectacular show today. The same huge female stayed near the submersible cages all day, sometimes she was joined by several other sharks. These sharks are so awesome and majestic !! As a special treat we saw a couple of brave sealions teasing the shark by swimming near her tail, while keeping a distance from her front!! A fantastic day at Guadalupe !! – Jonas Jacobsen
Another wonderful trip on the Nautilus Explorer! Shore tours on the inflatable to check out the fur seals and sea lions on the beach. Lots of shark action today with two sharks circling the underwater cages and several sea lions looping about as well. I had not realized how large and wide these sharks are until we saw them up close – almost close enough to touch! We are looking forward to more shark interaction tomorrow… – Barbara
