Update on the sport fishing boat Pancho that we documented and photographed fishing several hundred meters away from the Nautilus Explorer at San Benedicto and Socorro Island. The captain of the Pancho is apparently very apologetic. He had 2 elderly guests onboard and his stabilizer system broke down. That’s why he came inshore to fish. HUHHHHHH!!!! Wait a second. You have elderly guests onboard and suffer a mechanical problem. So instead of returning to port, you chose to sneak into a protected marine biosphere and illegally poach fish. We’re having trouble with the logic on this. Shame!!!
