Here the mantas seemed particularly playful and curious with the divers, coming within two to three feet above us repeatedly  -Chris G.
 
First day at Roca Partida began choppy, giving way to calm, clear warm water under the waves. White-tip reef sharks slithered all over the rock. The far-off glimpses of a Galapagos and hammerhead on the first dive likewise gave way to a much clearer view on the second dive, along with two curious mantas. One manta continued to circle the stragglers on our safety stop. – Greg Hamman
