A hook and trailing weight..

Beautiful clear water today. On the 3rd dive, a manta came by to ask for us to remove a hook and trailing weight; which we were able to do thanks mainly to Lois and Ed. As a gift of thanks three mantas danced for us, allowed us to swim with them (up to our limited abilities).
On the 4th dive, we saw a baby manta, a meter or so wide, following a its mother; or so we thought! Apparently it’s common for mobula to attach themselves here to giants and swim around with them. Matter of whether baby or mobula as yet undecided.
Highlights of the trip so far: 15-foot Manta doing 4 somersaults, being surrounded by 3 Mantas, school of hammerheads, a dolphin hunting under the boat on the safety stop…
