Today was our first day of diving and it was amazing! We saw many mantas in the morning and they came right up to us and swam around and around us. I actually made eye contact with one of them! And then there were the sharks….whitetip reef sharks, silvertip sharks, and hammerheads. On two separate dives we saw huge schools of hammerheads swimming right past us. More than I have seen in my past 10+ years of diving all over the world. We also saw multiple very active curious octopuses and huge green moray eels. I can’t wait to see what nature brings us tomorrow.
