We are hoping and planning to restart Socorro operations on June 24th. Our mantas, dolphins and sharks are waiting for you! Click below for a “hello” from our favourite bottlenose dolphins!!
Yeah. It’s time. We are optimistic. Hotels in Cabo San Lucas are currently planning to reopen on May 17th. The lockdown in Mexico is due to finish at the end of May. Airline flights are running within Mexico and from the USA and Canada. San Diego is the meeting point for our Guadalupe trips. So yes, we are optimistic and keeping our fingers crossed that the mexican parks and ports will have reopened. Click here for Nautilus COVID19 Safe Travel Requirements.
We are taking a cautious and thoughtful approach to onboard sanitation and hygiene. We are requiring that guests self-monitor and record their body temperature twice a day for the week before boarding. We are implementing measures from social distancing (new skiff processes, staggered meal times, briefings and dives) to sanitized vacuum packed rental gear to fogging the ships every week with medical grade vital oxide disinfectant. Click here for our COVID19 best practices. If you are booked on a trip and don’t feel well, please let us know before you travel or when you get to Cabo and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. All crew and guests will receive a complimentary health check before boarding. Masks will be required in all public areas onboard.
$1000 special !! Come and help us count sharks and manta rays. We have been worried about illegal fishing in the islas during the shut-down. Really worried while the ports and parks have been closed. We have one ship on standby to set sail as soon as the park reopens and we are looking for volunteers to join our scientists to go diving and count sharks and mantas on an 8 night Socorro trip. The catch is that we don’t know when exactly the park will reopen so we are looking for folks with flexibility in when they can go. Email here if you can join us.
Stay safe.
Stay healthy
Let’s get back in the water!!!
