Today we did three dives at Las Animas, an island in the Sea of Cortez located north of La Paz. On the first dive as soon as we went down, we headed to one of the cleaning stations in the area, and we encounter a school of about 30 hammerheads, and they got pretty close making several passes by the divers. For the second dive we tried to see them again but only spotted a couple of them. For the last dive, we went to the other side of the island where the sea lion colony is and had an incredible dive with tons of sea lions with cristal clear water with the temperature reaching up to 85F in some spots.
