The Canyon is giving it all! We plan to start our dive in the Blue. Conditions were perfect. Visibility of 50-feet, mild current and water temperature of 76 F. Five minutes after we started our dive we had an amazing encounter with a school of hundreds of hammerheads! They were all over, surrounding us for more that 25 minutes. We could have stayed more with them but we were running out of deco time so we started shallowing our dive to a shallower rock we called Manta Rock. For the last part of the dive a mature female oceanic manta ray shows up to play with our bubbles. It was an epic dive from the beginning till the end of the safety stop.
