Roca Partida never ceases to amaze me. During this trip we stayed two days on Roca Partida and every minute underwater was an unforgettable experience.
six oceanic, four chevron and two black morph manta rays stayed with us during every single dive. We spent lots of time with them and we were able to start appreciating their different behaviours, shapes and markings. There was one male black morph manta ray that had a small bite on its right wing and we could actually see the cleaner fish doing their job and cleaning the wound. Being able to witness symbiosis in action as well as the interaction between divers and nature is one of the many reasons that make Socorro Islands a unique and incredible diving destination.
