This entire experience has been nothing short of amazing and has definitely lived up to its reputation. Whenever I meet other divers, I always ask, ‘where is your favorite place to dive?’ – and, if they have been to the Socorro Islands, they will always reply, “Socorro Islands!”
Now I understand why.
The marine life was mesmerizing on every single dive. I feel so incredibly fortunate and blessed to have been able to experience this incredible opportunity. This was an experience of a lifetime.
This trip was made even more memorable by the amazing staff and crew at Nautilus. Every single member of the team worked to ensure each passenger had the best experience possible; even those that were not able to dive as much as they would have liked. The food was fantastic, the accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean and the dive masters were the best I have ever had! The only negative is that this experience had to end.
I am already counting down the days until I can return to this magical and spiritual place to spend more time with the beautiful creatures that call the Socorro Islands their home. A deep and heartfelt ‘thank you’ to Nautilus Liveaboards and their incredible staff for making every second of this trip absolutely perfect.
