The Canyon is on fire! On our first dive, we dropped at Manta Rock and went down to 60ft and immediately saw a school of hammerhead sharks heading towards us. The visibility was great with a mild, manageable current. We hovered there for around 30 minutes as the school of hammerheads kept moving closer to us. A great encounter you’d expect to only experience in Galapagos or Cocos Island. We decided to move around the dive site to see what other marine life there was for us to find, so we made our way to the cleaning station. Out of nowhere, a tiger shark appeared and it was mind blowing. The adrenaline rush of the group was amazing and we all came up cheering.
