It’s been an amazing trip to Socorro Island. All the megafauna joined us from friendly manta rays to even a whale shark. Not to mention all the dolphins, tiger sharks, hammerheads and Galapagos sharks. The night snorkel with the silky sharks was an unforgettable experience for our guests with so many showing up last night.
There were lots of yellow fin tunas which are one of my favorite species to see. Although you will likely dive in some currents that make the diving more challenging, it is completely worth it. The water temperature has started getting warmer from 72°F to 75°F but a full 5mm wetsuit is still recommended.
