You Could See the Shadow of a Manta Ray

Arriving at the cleaning station of The Canyon, we were greeted by whitetip reef sharks, Galapagos sharks, lots of silvertips and a massive scalloped hammerhead. In the background you could see the shadow of a manta ray.

We started to hear dolphins and it didn’t take too long for five adults and one baby dolphin to appear out from the blue. As they went up to the surface, we moved our focus to a massive school of huge tuna. There were about 80 of them, all being followed by a school of silky sharks. Later on, we found a beautiful scorpion fish hiding next to a rock and an octopus hiding in a shell.

We decided to end our dive after just 35 minutes. We had seen everything and our bottom time started to get low. That’s a lot to take in for just a half-hour dive!
