We’ve had some fantastic dives! Cabo Pearce at Socorro Island, is a diving spot that contrasts from the previously dived Roca Partida. It has a more consolidated reef, probably due to the greater size of the island.
Pelagic marine life use the island’s reef fish assemblage to clean themselves from parasites. I saw a manta being cleaned by several clarionfish. As many as seven mantas used the cleaning station where the UNESCO plaque is, so we stayed there and took some great shots. Moreover, as these mantas were actively being cleaned by the fishes (and apparently our bubbles), they were actively passing by the cleaning station, giving us the chance to enjoy their harmonious swimming all dive long.
