We were still beaming from the spectacular moment when we heard our dive guide Xavier’s signature rattler moving us on to the next exciting sight – a small school of hammerheads in the same line of sight as two gorgeous oceanic mantas showing off their bellies (one of which was expecting!). We even caught an octopus escaping a predator and, for a moment, a giant whale shark cruising by. Pelagic diving does not get better than this!
