The Epic Interactions Kept Coming

There is a common belief among divers that the best dives of the day on a liveaboard are in the morning. Today at Cabo Pearce, this myth was discredited. We had four amazing dives throughout the day but the last one was the biggest surprise of them all. From the moment we jumped into the water, seven different manta rays started playing with us all at the same time. Three of them were chevron mantas and four black morph mantas. After that, the epic interactions kept coming and a whale shark cruised right over us.

When we thought it could not get any better than that, the whale shark turned around and was escorted by a huge female black manta. All the group stayed calm, waiting for a few minutes to then have the whale shark pass by one more time! The happiness of all the divers was the best part of the dive.
