A Shark the Size of a Bus

On this last trip we had a tropical depression that come through the south of the Revillagigedo Archipelago. It was lucky we could dive each day and only needed to adjust our schedule by staying two days in a row at Cabo Pearce, Socorro Island, which ended up being awesome!

We had manta rays on all of our dives. They came so close, making their loops around and above all the divers. We also had dolphins with us and we saw a big school of scalloped hammerhead sharks three times out in the blue – about 100 sharks strong! On the first day, we also saw one of the biggest whale sharks I have ever seen! We estimate his size at 11-12 meters. A shark the size of a bus. Another trip with amazing diving!
