This trip I drove the skiff a lot and I paid attention to other things that, when I am diving, I cannot appreciate as much. Baja landscapes are breathtaking. Each location has its own character, the hills, the colors, the birds and even the vegetation. In Las Animas the island is covered with guano. The San Francisquito area has a crazy small island called El Pardito with a community of fishermen that are self-sufficient that live in the middle of the Sea of Cortez without electricity. It’s interesting to see the island with the houses there in contrast to the other derelict islands. Espiritu Santo sunsets are fuchsia, red and violent. Each hill on the area has its own name. I feel so blessed that I can work in this beautiful place. Thank you Sea of Cortez for this scenery that I think I will never tire of admiring.
