Girl power at Guadalupe today! We spent the whole day with five different fully grown female great whites, and 1 younger one – we will try to identify them tonight during shark ID night hopefully finding matches and being able to call them by their names.
The ladies put on a great show, non-stop attacking the bait since early in the morning and until the last diver was out after sunset, such a treat. As a wrangler, it was a real challenge; the grown-ups seem like they know the drill, they have been at Guadalupe before and they know how to trick us to get their tuna snack by always changing the angle of attack, varying speed, circling the bait, and in the end winning the tuna. They deserve it for the great show they put on today.
