Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2021-12-05

Location: San Benedicto

Weather: Clouded Skies, NNE Wind (10-14kts), SE Swell

We started the day with our checkout dive off the stern at Fondeadero which went well, a couple of mantas around plus a few sharks, nice way to start. The current was mild, viz 60-70ft.

We did our second dive at the Canyon and was excellent, all the guests were very happy. Schooling hammerheads, Galapagos, silvertips plus a few mantas around. When I asked what they saw, the standard answer was, “Everything!”. Viz around 80ft, with a mild current.

Our plan for tonight is to head to Cabo Pearce.

Water temperature: 77°F

Visibility: 60-80ft
