Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-01-16

Location: The Boiler

Weather: Clear Skies, N Light Wind, NW Swell (5-7ft)

Yesterday we arrived almost at midnight to Fondeadero, the first dive was pretty mellow with just a couple of white tip sharks, silvertip sharks, one tiger shark, and a manta with Juan David’s group. Rodolfo’s group could see a school of hammerheads for a few minutes at the end of the dive. As soon as we finished we moved directly to The Boiler the 2nd dive was good, with a couple of mantas around the rock.

Water temperature: 77°F
