Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2022-01-27

Location: San Benedicto

Weather: Clouder Skies, NW Wind (7-10kts), Calm Seas

Yesterday we finished our day at Cabo Pearce the day, in general, was good but the current and visibility were not as good as the marine life was, we had a strong current most of the dives and that affected the dive in general. We could dive with a couple of mantas and some hammerheads sharks, as well the dolphins were there but not as much as the dive before, after our last dive we moved to Bahia Vargas for the Navy check as soon as we finished we came back to Pearce for the silky snorkel which was pretty good, we had a few guests who did it but everyone on board was on the back deck watching the show. We started our dive day at 0900 here at the canyon, the visibility is very good, we saw a couple of mantas, hammerheads sharks, Galapagos sharks, our guests really like the Canyon, we will spend the day here.

Water temperature: 77°F

Visibility: 35ft+
