As a dive guide, one of the things I enjoy the most is when I turn around to check out my group and I see the excited eyes behind the masks of the divers. Especially when is the first time they have had an encounter with scalloped hammerheads. We were at The canyon., the current was flowing from the west, we were navigating to the cleaning station when a group of seven very curious hammers surprise us. It was the first time for many divers of the group to see that species of shark. That happiness is contagious underwater.
I believe Revillagigedo is a good place to encounter pelagic animals for all types of divers not only super experienced ones. Conditions can play in favor of divers. In all the sites we can find protection from the topography and have nice and easy entries, you can encounter marine life not very deep and currents change a lot but you do not need to have OMG currents to see the big stuff!. Do not doubt about it. Come to the ocean paradise!!!
